Recertification is important as it demonstrates individuals continued commitment in maintaining knowledge and expertise. To keep certifications up to date and current, all certified individuals should recertify periodically according to the ICCKE recertification policy.

Certified Knowledge Expert certification is valid for three years from the date of passing the examination. Certification status can be obtained by contacting ICCKE.

Active: The status is active immediately after passing the certification examination and signing the ICCKE certification agreement. Active status is in effect for three years from the date of certification

Expired: The status will be expired if a certified individual does not meet the recertification requirements prior to certification expiry date. Status is changed to active upon fulfilling the recertification requirements within a year of the date of expiry.
