It is the policy of ICCKE that certification candidate must not take any action that will compromise the integrity or the confidentiality of an ICCKE Certification Examination or otherwise compromise the integrity of the ICCKE Certification Program.

It is the policy of ICCKE to disallow all forms of unacceptable conduct during all certification examinations. Such actions include but are not limited to:

  • Failure to follow reasonable testing facility rules and procedures and security requirements
  • Disclosing actual examination content via web postings, discussion groups, chat rooms, study guides, e-mail, telephone, or any other method
  • Assisting or receiving assistance of any type from anyone during any examination, including leaving answer keys exposed for view by other candidates
  • Access and use of “brain dumps” for the purpose use of increasing a candidate’s score is prohibited. The methods used by which ICCKE, with the help of Prometric to determine if “brain dumps” are being used by examinees are not released
  • Use of falsified or altered certificates, score reports, or other documents or use of electronic media to misrepresent the status of a candidate
  • Using any aids, notes, equipment or other materials not authorized by testing delivery partners (Prometric) or ICCKE during the examination
  • Providing falsified identification documentation as a means of presenting a false identity or address of another person to take an examination on a candidate’s behalf
  • Soliciting another person to take an examination on the candidate’s behalf
  • Failure to protect certification examination content including labs through carelessness or in an attempt to shield facts regarding a violation
  • Copying or transferring of examination questions and/or answers in any format using any means.
  • Knowingly assisting another candidate to engage in any dishonest or attempted dishonest behaviors
  • Causing a disturbance of any kind in a testing facility such as removing or attempting to remove examination questions or lab instructions, and/or responses (in any format) or notes, note board, or scratch paper from the examination testing room
  • Violate the terms of examination retake policy
  • Failure to operate the testing facility equipment with reasonable care
  • Tampering with the operation of the testing center computer or attempting to use it for any function other than taking certification examination during such examination
If it is determined that any candidate has violated the Candidate Conduct Policy, ICCKE will communicate to the candidate a notice listing the violations, applicable sanctions and appeals process. The sanctions and the appeals process is listed in the ICCKE Disciplinary Process and made available on the ICCKE website.
